Cleveland, Ohio to Battle Creek, Michigan 276 Miles (3143 Miles Total) Cloudy & Rain - 68F

Cleveland Rocks!
Rock and Roll has a home in Cleveland... but you are not allowed to photograph it, except from the outside. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on the shores of Lake Erie is well worth a visit and home to countless rock treasures. The items in the collection and composition of the displays are equally impressive and the use of multimedia presentations is very effective. It's a fun place; you'll just have to go take a peek inside for yourself. Just leave your camera at home.

The lakefront in Cleveland was crowded on this Fruday as the tall ships were in port. Unfortunately, high winds (not to mention clouds and more rain) kept the sails stowed away.
Jacobs Field
From downtown Cleveland, I headed west on I-90 and the Ohio Turnpike to the Indiana state line, where I made a turn north into Michigan on I-69. It was a very windy drive, with strong crosswinds pushing Quark around quite a bit. I arrived in Battle Creek early and had time to do some shopping before checking into a Comfort Inn for the night.
Little cars... big trucks
Bug Splat of the Day (presented by Armor-All Glass Cleaner)

A wash-out... again (I've only had one rain-free travel day)
Tomorrow: Goin' to the chapel...
